This site started out as a simple database of all the 2000AD issues that I have - to help me collect all of the missing issues. Even before I had all of the published issues I started to expand the contents of the database, adding details of each story that appeared in each issue and who contributed to that story.

It’s a big job but it gives me an excuse to read the old issues and enjoy the stories again.

Where will it end? I don’t really know but I can’t see an end in site yet. Sometimes my interest lapses but every now and then I get back to the site and add more information to it.

The site consists of a MySQL database containing all of the issue details and a number of PHP scripts to bring it all together. NetObjects Fusion is used to create the look-and-feel but I certainly don’t do this tool good justice and end up with a fairly simple site.
